Since change is challenging, it would be important for leaders to guide teams to see the benefits of working virtually, i.e. to look at what they currently do in their work that could fit in an online environment. As well, to brainstorm strategies that could be helpful for the transitioning process and the new opportunities. This could be a good start.

Did you see the final review that the client crafted? If you are happy with it, could you not contact the client and ask if there was anything you might do to facilitate the process of having her/him post the review. I have used the following line when someone to whom I sent an email doesn't answer me. It would be a person whom I know or I might not be very familiar with. This is the subject line: "Did my email get lost in your inbox?" This worked really well. The person answered me quite quickly. I only ask clients for reviews in person or on the phone. It's important to make that connection with them. Also, I want to discuss what I am hoping they will write in a review. Structuring how you would like them to write the review is important. That way they just don't ramble on about things... (more) I only ask clients for reviews in person or on the phone. First, you need to recognize that you need to improve your business writing. This is key to make anything happen. You then need to avail yourself of the services of a company that provides this type of skills improvement. An efficient consultant will first discuss your needs and look at some of your writing samples. Once this is done, recommendations are made regarding what would improve outcomes and help you master the art of well written communication. This is the kind of training/services we offer at the Language Lab.
