Next we do the same with present and past clients to see what they feel about your company. This is how we can separate you from the marketplace and have you stand out from the competition. Once we have finished that we can then develop a marketing campaign that fits exactly who you are...internally and externally. The goal is to not just create cool visuals for your company but create something that is based on what the market wants and what you can deliver. Dennis is correct. The vehicles that are used will depend on budget and product. Some products work quite well with social media marketing and email marketing. Others may work better as a direct mail customer of a Television client.

The best way is to have a company like me (LOL), look at your company and find out what makes you special. We use a simple form get gather that information. 5 questions that key members of your organization can answer. Then do a simple grass roots research project to look at your competition.
It is best to know what the market is like and have an idea of a direction that fits you so we develop a campaign that hits the target market that you are chasing. Most agencies will come up with cool ideas without substance behind the concepts. It would be like shooting a arrow without a target in front of you. What we do is give you a target.

Hi Christina. I posted something a while ago that talks about knowing your market and your competition. Finding out what your past clients liked about your service and what the market wants is key. You would be surprise at how many of my clients have thought that their company was viewed one way and actually was viewed in a completely light. plus creating a marketing strategy that fits your needs is important to getting quality leads. Too many agencies come up with creative based on nothing but a clever thought. You need to have a plan that makes sense to what you do.
As far as doing marketing yourself...I would advise against it. Most people just do not have the band width to stay on top of the marketing. Find someone who is willing to understand your business and partner with them.
Word of mouth is key in your industry. I did some work for a wedding florist and they get most of their work that way and bridal conventions. Think about offering a lead fee from happy clients. Do a simple email campaign to past clients that gives them $50 for every successful lead they send. Then just add the $50 on top of your final bill. Start simple.

First...know your market. Talk to your present clients and find out what they llike and even dislike about your company.
Next...find out what the competition is doing and what you can take from them and make work for you. A little up front work will give a great return in the long run.

Most people get there social media, websites, and email campaigns, etc going and do not continue posting new ideas. Fresh information always brings new visitors.

Once you have that you can do simple research with currents and past clients to find out why clients work with you or why they left. This can be done with an on line cheap research tool or just a phone call. The last thing is what we call a separation document. This is filled out by key employees. Usually it contains five questions to see how you and your employees currently view your company and see where they think your company is heading.
All that information is then used to build your marketing program. Remember to use all of this information as your bible for all materials moving forward.
