How can you get customers interested in your FB page to the point that they will purchase items from you?

Great Question... when you know the answer, please share...
I have found that on my FB Page, I get the most likes (which would be FabYOUlous if it equaled sales) when I’m NOT promoting a sale. Crazy as it may seem, people like to see how much our company has given to charities, cute photos, etc.
