Quality entertainers! Vocalists, musicians, bands, duets, stars! Some magicians, talented clowns that do the gamut of tricks, facepaint, silly magic, balloon creations. Some impersonators.

How We Got Started

My husband and I were singing at karaoke regularly - we got to know many talented vocalists who would later become resources for our talent base. My husband wanted to work as a vocalist, someone had suggested it to him. So I started getting him jobs while he was at work to take on weekends. From there many more approached me and sent in demos and resumes. We work all over NJ, some NY, some PA. Have worked in Fla & TX as well.

The music publishing I started because we have some talented composers on board. I also enjoy making music videos. Not enough submissions were sent in so I started writing songs as well. It's a costly avenue of fun.

I enjoy networking parties, even if to get out of the office and meet people. And to "see what's up" in the world, as I am often fastened to my desk and computer. Also the events are often a bit of a drive. Most the time the events are held by "already"  customers and they invite vendors who don't necessarily need what we have and vice-versa, so I am not out to push our name. Most of us usually do ask what the other does, and so it is all-around interesting. And uplifting.

Sometimes we just never know.  It's the word of mouth that customers may participate in and since many don't tell you that they are referring you, it's a nice surprise! I don't have many competitors as far as what I do and my answer to your second question is yes, to selling one time for their need and then not hearing from them again.  We've been blessed to have some great entertainers if our customers are willing to try.  Many do, so I place the best show I... (more) I don't have many competitors as far as what I do and my answer to your second question is yes, to selling one time for their need and then not hearing from them again.  We've been blessed to have some great entertainers if our customers are willing to try.  Many do, so I place the best show I can into a new potential customer so they will come back to us, hopefully. There are those who offer their services as sole acts so they would be my competitors.  I can't compete with their prices, so we rely on the customers "needing" us for a special theme or date that they cannot fill. It's a tough situation so I have to try to make it easy for them. If they do try us, often they find that it is easier to call on us than to face the sole entertainers who bombard them.  Many customers are bombarded by our competitors, so often they just tell the sole acts that they use our services only. For those such customers, it's easy for them to just call on us to line up all their shows through one source. They depend on us, and re-fill a slot as needed without their having to find someone to fill a spot at the last minute. We try to make our customers look good so that they are happy.

Mostly word-of-mouth but often I find my customers like our post-cards!  I don't always mail them as post-cards, but I often stuff envelopes with current invoices .... it helps to use a variety of postcards featuring different possibilities, ideas. We deal with this all the time. If there is no new business, I do what Jason Suggests below.  If not, I send statements regularly.  We have customers that pay 3 mos to 6 mos. but the rest are much better.   Some of the better customers (or bigger) pay with longer pay scales.   The only way to... It may take time.  I've taken many customers to small claims.

I rarely have to do that.  They seem to naturally do that in the first place.
