About Us

At Life and Death Services, I offer compassionate, heart-centered support to people walking through one of life’s hardest transitions—the end-of-life journey of a beloved companion animal. Whether you're planning ahead for a senior pet or navigating a recent diagnosis or sudden decline, you don’t have to do this alone.

As a certified companion animal end-of-life doula, I help pet parents create meaningful advance care plans, understand euthanasia and what to expect, decide how they’d like to honor their pet’s memory, and feel supported in the emotional, practical, and spiritual aspects of saying goodbye. All services are available online, except for local in-person support during euthanasia.

I also facilitate an online pet loss grief support group, where individuals can connect with others who understand the depth of love and grief involved in losing a beloved animal. It’s a safe, nonjudgmental space to share stories, feel seen, and begin healing in community.

My ideal clients are loving, devoted pet parents who see their animals as family and want to ensure their pet’s final days are handled with care, dignity, and intention. Many are overwhelmed and need help making decisions about care, loss, and legacy.

I also value warm, collaborative relationships with others who support pet families—veterinarians, vet techs, groomers, trainers, sitters, pet hospice providers, animal chaplains, grief counselors, holistic practitioners, and those who create pet memorials and keepsakes. If you serve the same clients and believe in thoughtful, heart-led care, let’s connect. We can grow together through cross-referrals, shared education, or simply knowing our clients are in good hands.

Together, we can ensure no one has to say goodbye without support, love, and understanding.

How We Got Started

I've shared my life with animals for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve walked alongside seven amazing dogs from their first puppy steps to their final breaths. Each journey was different—some incredibly hard, others more peaceful—but every one was filled with love, learning, and deep connection.

As an end-of-life doula for people, a spiritual director, and a social worker, I’ve witnessed how powerful it can be to have someone walk with you during life’s most tender moments. I realized that our companion animals deserve that same care—and so do the people who love them.

Because my heart is especially tied to dogs and the humans who love them, I knew I wanted to be that steady presence for others navigating this sacred and often overwhelming part of the journey. Grief over a pet is real. So is the love that came before it.

Offering these services online allows me to reach people who may not otherwise have support during this time—no matter where they live. It’s an honor
