Benjamin started selling real estate in 2009 after receiving his honorable discharge from his four years' service in the US Marine Corps. He jumped into the industry during some of its lowest times, just after the crash. Foreclosures and short sales saturated the market, with sellers needing to sell but underwater with their mortgages. Benjamin found is footing and made lemons into lemonade, negotiating with banks on behalf of his short sale clients.

After 3 years, Benjamin earned his Broker's License and started a small family-operated brokerage. Two successful years and hundreds of home sales later, he turned the brokerage over to good hands. He started selling at Tierra Antigua Realty, Southern Arizona's largest locally owned brokerage.
