Jim Henry is a Washington State licensed on-site sewage system designer with experience designing the following system types:

Jim has worked as an on-site wastewater system designer since 1992. He was licensed by Washington State in 2001. Jim is continuing his professional development through education classes offered by Washington On-site Wastewater Association (WOSSA).
Jim strives to stay current with new technology, regulation changes, and methods. He performs his service in such a manner to meet the needs and preferences of clients while ensuring that the design meets local and state requirements. Washington Designer License #5100121

My competition is often a great place to get information. We recognize that there is plenty of work out there for all of us and those of us who lead in our industry want to make sure we all succeed. A lot of good information is exchanged at training conferences that we attend.

Word of mouth is always the number one generator, so we must see any customer as five or six more customers. Word of mouth is always the number one generator, so we must see any customer as five or six more customers. This means that each customer no matter how detailed in there questions or want to know more about what we do, must be treated as the best customer you have ever had. I will sacrifice some profit to make sure any customer walks away willing to share their positive experience with my company.
There will be a few messes to clean up, but there should be no major blowups with a customer due to my attitude or disposition.
I believed I could serve the clients with greater care than my employer at the time.
And that has been what has happened. It was the right thing to do at the time and still is.
The Lord has blessed us well as we have been profitable sense the first two months of starting.

I was very fortunate that when I opened for business my first month showed a profit and it has never changed.

I send reminders, but never demanding, and when they come in for more service I let them know that I am happy to serve them and will do so once the outstanding invoice is paid. And will often ask for a retainer for the next project. Try never to seem desperate for their $.
