We are a local 20 yr old auto-services company specializing in premium auto detailing, car washing, auto dealer new car prep, used-car detailing and inventory management. Our mobile fleet, www.vaautospa.com, services residential, retail, fleet and corporate accounts at home, offices or worksites.
How We Got Started
Born and raised in the DMV, my first job was washing cars at the local car dealer, and the rest is history. With 20+ years experience in serving the largest and most prestigious auto brands in the region we continue to grow with the expansion of our self-contained mobile detailing fleet. If you consider your personal or business vehicles as assets, we want to be your long-term partner in their maintenance and long-term care.

These calls are likely the customers who are stuck in a jam, needing a quick fix, and need some sympathy for their situation. We'd say: 1) here are our prices; and with that we're gonna take care of you with 'end-to-end premium full-service' (get you home safely and check on you through the process safely); and 2) (when they experience sticker shock), "sure folks, no problem, all our services and all prices are clearly listed on our website, we are not the cheapest service around and there are lots of other choices out there, so feel free to shop around and we'll be here if you need us". And, 3) go back and look at your marketing and advertising plan; are you investing in "image" and "branding" promotions, selling your company (externally and internally) as the best at what you do, and what are you doing to generate steady ongoing business from non-emergency sources?

I was talking to the Farmer at the Local Wednesday Farmer's Market; he said 'do you know why we have a farmer's market downtown?'; back in the day people had to come in town to the bank to manage any of their money; now they don't have to do that; and neither do they have to come to town to buy shoes. If you have a passion for helping people solve foot health and fashion challenges, go for it, brand yourself as a local expert; but try to get in an area where other merchants are promotionally active.
Rarely do I see a direct connection to placements; it seems more like it's the cumulative effect of all our marketing over time that makes the phone ring.
