I would expect virtual events. We don't know how deep Covid 19 will cut into the business environments, but things will not return to normal until there is a vaccine or a definitive cure. It's just too dangerous when you have a population that has systemic health problems.  (more) I would expect virtual events. I would search on FB for folks who like your kind of programing, prepare an ad, give a great deal for exposure, spend very little 1 or 2 dollars a day and see where that takes you. Also, I'm sure you have a FB page and a website for your station, add content there regarding who and what you are looking for and see where that takes you.  Perhaps check out the contact person (admin) for a FB page you like, introduce yourself and see if that person has content he/she would like to contribute to your station. Little by little is good, see where you get traction. Call me or email me for more ideas. Here or on FB. White Diamond Media      Good Luck!!!

I give clients a time frame and invoice that specifies when the terms are due and when I will be done and don't usually post or deliver work until full payment is received. For those people who I do things for on spec (and there are a few), I send monthly invoices when they don't pay right away. Life throws curveballs sometimes so I give people as much leeway as I can.  Clear payment terms on the invoices really help people budget and I find that asking what their budget is upfront and tailoring the work to that budget helps keep things clear and congenial. For people who need a lot of services, best to give good deals to keep the packages affordable and build a working relationship. Always take a 50% deposit upfront.   If you do excellent work, people will want to continue to do business with you. Just keep sending invoices that are no-nonsense and friendly. Usually, clients will want to continue a working relationship with you, and they just need a little more time to get it together.  I generally do not take people to small claims court, I feel it's better to give them time to take care of it, rather than get involved with legal issues.  Also, you can generally tell if someone is having a money conflict, and then I suggest they hold off on work until their situation improves.

You can target real estate agents in different cities from a 25 to 30 mile radius from each town you are targeting. Use the Video View Ad section in FB to target the specific people/businesses you want to reach. Your pitch to should be specific, clearly stating your clients service is exclusive and limited to one agent in each town that responds. Start with smaller towns, see how it goes and scale accordingly. The suggestions below are great too.

Wow, I see that 750 people saw your question and no one answered. Since you didn't tell us what the book is about, it will be a general answer. To put it in the nutshell: Let as many people you know know where they can buy it in your warm market. E-mail your entire e-mail list and let them know how much the book costs and where they can get it. Make sure your graphics are eye catching and tell people in one or two sentences what the book is about. Do as many video interviews as you can and put them on your video channel, make sure you have your videos properly SEO'd Do a few press releases. Keep posting on social media and syndicate your book launch to all your social media platforms. Hire a publicist and social media manager and have them post frequently. Do free or paid lectures on your topic in your local Chamber of Commerce. Expect to put a lot of energy into marketing your book, making personal appearances and be consistent when making calls and floowing up to writers, bloggers and other media outlets. These are just a few things .... It really depends on your book topic and the community it reaches and if they love the book and will support it. Keep at it until you find your audience. Good Luck!!
