How We Got Started
For many years I made jewelry as a means to making extra money when I needed it. I was widowed in 2001 and I decided it was a good time to try to convert my hobby into a career. I closed my retail gift store in Ocean City and started working from home. This meant, I no longer needed to pay a high store rent and I was able to stay home with my young children.

I owned a shop for many years and I prided myself on having unique merchandise. I think if this situation presented itself to me I would probably drop the line. If my customer can buy the product anywhere, it is no longer unique... Also, smaller shops usually can't compete with the price breaks...

I bet you find another company that is just right for you!
Advertise on social media. Social media is an amazing resource. Use Facebook and Instagram at a minimum. (Lots of people shop via Instagram and Pinterest these days)....Have an open house at your place of business...Perhaps offer an incentive... Buy 2 get one free or something that will drive...
