"Landscape Illuminations installed our exterior lighting and did a great job. In addition, we purchased a large wreath from them that they store and then install for us every Christmas season about 20’ in the air. Highly recommended. "

So it seems their is some confusion on here about the type of federal loan and what its for:
PPP - is for keeping your employees and for rent and utilities. Covers 8 weeks from the time you get funded. It goes thru your bank, they review your items after 8 weeks and what u used on payroll, rent, utilities, is 100% forgiven. If anything is left it goes on a 2 year 1% interest loan. Businesses that are working with smaller regional banks seem to be getting funded quickly. Big banks, good luck. We did our paperwork on 4/3 pm, was approved on 4/14, money in account 4/17. So 2 weeks. Ive also heard of companies going thru paypal and getting funded in 48 hours.
EIDL- disaster loan. Long process because 4 million applications received. Basically you wait until they get to you. We applied 4/3, got credit pulled (personal) on 4/23. Usually 4-7 days after that u receive the online portal for how much and the docs to be signed. This is a 30 year loan at 3.75 %, payments are delayed for 1 year. Along with this you may receive an advance or grant of up to 10,000, its 1,000 per employee. That usually goes into your account very soon after the credit is pulled with no notification. This does not have to be paid back, it is a grant. Qualifications for how much u can receive on the EIDL are your Gross sales minus COGS . I believe max is 500k, but not sure. We have found a lot of good information on EIDL and PPP on a site called redit.com search on those loan names and you will find a lot of questions being answered by other businesses owners out there. Be safe, and carry on! I hope this helps!!!!

Many large banks were overwhelmed with apps and it was a slow and prolonged process. This is a huge win for small regional banks who were able to service their clients in a quick and timely fasion.
