Nicole Alosinac Luthiery is a full service stringed instrument repair shop. Over 20 years of experience in repairing, maintaining, restoring and improving guitars, basses, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, violins, cellos etc..... anything with strings except pianos!
After studying woodworking at Conestoga College and working as a Cabinet maker Nicole was drawn to the guitar. Nicole started working for Larrivee Guitars in 1998, building guitars, working on the quality control team, and ultimately in the repair department. While there Nicole started studying with Master Luthiery Geza Burghardt. With Geza, Nicole learned Classical guitar building, repair techniques, French Polishing, and Violin family restoration etc....
Along the way Nicole repaired instruments at Rufus' Guitar Shop, a local Vancouver institution.
In 2006 Nicole opened her workshop fulltime, and since then thousands of instruments have passed through her hands.
In 2018 Nicole started designing and building her own models of steel string guitars.
