If you have a retail space: Make up a bunch of coupon cards that give them one free sample for coming into the shop. Hand the cards out where ever you can. Do not require that they need to purchase something to get the freebie. We do this regularly and have found that 95% of the people who bring in the coupon buy something else. Find out when fundraiser events/banquets are happening in your community and sign-up to participate and offer free samples of your product. These events tend to attract people with capital to spend and/or influence to share. Word of mouth is everything to your growing business.

word of mouth...social media is a HUGE free asset. Post everyday...post contests.....post freebies to get them to come...then once they arrive sell and impress......make them start talking and want to talk to others. Is There an Overhead Formula for Bakeries to Add to Recipe Costs to Determine the True Cost of Goods?

standard formula is usually 3x what is costs you to make....but it also depends on the labor involved....so if a cookie costs $.25 to make you should sell it for $.75 if its pre-packaged maybe up that to $1.00 hope that helps!
