My experience - depends on age.  Under 30 seem to prefer it, over 40 I think prefer voice comm.  30-40 don't have strong opinions I've seen....the real question is, does it fit with your brand?  Consistency in branding is at least as important as method of communication. Marketing is a marathon, not a sprint.  All of it plays a part - special offers, calls to action, relationship marketing, front-of-mind marketing.   (more) Marketing is a marathon, not a sprint.  All of it plays a part - special offers, calls to action, relationship marketing, front-of-mind marketing.

Frame it in such a way that another business owner will understand - $$.  They don't care about your feelings, they DO care about saving money.  Make sure your invoice includes the price, "net 15", with X% fee after 15....Depending on the invoice amount, X% can provide a powerful incentive to pay... When you figure that out, let me know.  Some realtors, no offense to anyone, seem to have a "good enough" approach to photography.  Higher priced properties NEED high quality images in order to portray the property properly, I think we can all agree on that.  The local Chamber may get you... I think the question is flawed. Price should be a function of quality, which equates to value. Don't price shop, quality shop. "Too much" is when the $ outflow exceeds the value inflow. Video is no different than photography in this regard. (more) I think the question is flawed. Price should be a function of quality, which equates to value. Don't price shop, quality shop. I would submit they're a customer, just not YOUR customer. They're looking for someone, not necessarily you. The real question is, how do you convert them from A customer to YOUR customer? Pre-education, pre-qualification are the keys. (more) I would submit they're a customer, just not YOUR customer. They're looking for someone, not necessarily you.
