We developed a COVID-19 plan for our Ryoshin-Kan Karate School, that is posted on our website and all students and parents were notified of it via email and text. We also posted the plan at the dojo. We currently are only doing outdoor and online Karate classes per the Virginia's Orders for Gyms. We concentrate on empty hand & traditional weapons Kata, fitness drills and Karate technique drills. We enforce the physical distance of 6 feet between students. We have hand sanitizer that students use before and after classes. We encourage all students to wash their hands before and after class. We clean, wipe down and sanitize all dojo equipment, floor & surfaces before and after classes with a solution of liquid Lysol disinfectant. Masks are optional and I allow anyone who wants to wear a mask, can do so during the outdoor training. We may update the Plan for everyone to wear a mask when we move to inside classes.
