We are "The Retro Den". We design unique, one of a kind and incredibly cool, reinvented home decor lighting made from iconic vintage to modern day cocktail shakers, percolators, tea pots, iconic beer tap handles, Kodak and Brownie cameras, tin cans and so much more. We honor products from that by-gone era when "Made in the USA" was the world's gold standard of excellence. As re-inventors & up-cyclers, we take great pride and joy in discovering forgotten pieces from the past, repurposing them and giving them new life, transforming it into something unthinkably new, cool and eye catching. We like to think we put the "Fun" in Functional Art and our cocktail shaker lamps make any hour.... Happy Hour.

We started back in 2012 as a Father/Daughter Team looking for something fun to do on the weekends. My daughter Shei was adopted from China was 7 when we started creating together. Since 2013 when we started selling out lamps have donated 25% of our profits to her orphanage in China. We loved creating upcycled gifts for family, friends and teachers. As it so often happens with teenagers, my daughter Shei who is now 17 has developed new interests. I lost my creative assistance but I'm blessed that she occasionally she still helps me set up for locals shows and events. We think it’s fun stuff... We hope you think so too.
