What are some ways that I can grow my sales as a sign and printing company?

Like any business owner, the challenge is how to stand out from the competition. I rarely attend a networking event where there isn't at least one signage company owner. (By the way, I already have my 'favorite' signage supplier.)
Two issues will most likely break me out of my comfort zone:
- Are your prices competitive (unless an exceptional discount, I'm unlikely to move away from my familiar supplier as I then worry about your quality at the reduced price) and more importantly,
- Will your service provide my business a competitive edge
I'm always looking for ways to improve my business ahead of the competition. Show me something about your business that provides unique value. Perhaps in your shared business card or, shared examples of your past work during the networking 'spot-light' phase.
Otherwise , I assume that if you can't provide me a call-to-action response to your internal quality-value then it's not clear how you can possibly provide value for my business - regardless of price.
Cutting cost is always important (assuming it's part of your marketing approach). However, my focus is business growth.
