The pandemic shut down my interior deign business (which was part of a co op for designers) in mid March. I will have moved my business into my home in Concord as of June 30. Even if things "open up" again I would not move my business back to Walnut Creek. The business license in WC (for my having only my own computer and one printer in a rented space) I paid nearly $400 per year. In Concord having my business in my home and owning everything in the office space I'm paying under $100 per year. Where I was located did have some onsite free parking - but, the parking meters on streets and in parking garages has discouraged a lot of people from doing business in WC.
