I would say it does not hurt. But if you are looking for higher end exposure it is on Houzz. You have to invest a lot of time and money to build your profile and adding constantly new projects and photos.

Houzz used to be better for upper brackets. But now are better suited to projects if lower price points.
My need us upper brackets. So I may go off Houzz if they don’t send me better referrals

I do some commercial but I only do small projects, such as entries or small offices. You have to have certifications when doing commercial. So I am a bit confused about the question of leaping into commercial projects. I think if you are doing well in residential you should stay there....

So I am a bit confused about the question of leaping into commercial projects. I think if you are doing well in residential you should stay there. Commercial projects take a huge amount of time and energy. The profits from commercial are in my opinion less and more involved. You are much more dedicated long term in commercial with profits coming to you much slower. But again you cannot leap into commercial unless you are certified to do commercial.
