Mathnasium of Washington Township is your neighborhood math-only learning center. We help kids in grades 2-12 understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium of Washington Township has provided math tutoring and homework help to hundreds of students in the Sewell, Williamstown, Sicklerville and Washington Township areas since September 2010.
Our expert math staff is passionate about helping kids in our community through both year-round and summer math programs. We offer both online and in-person instruction.

My wife and I opened a Math tutoring business just over 10 years ago. For the first five years or so, we commuted 30 minutes, worked together all day, and then 30 minutes home. Our responsibilities complimented each other's. Once we got home, she went upstairs to watch her TV shows, I stayed downstairs to watch mine. We didn't need to discuss work much at home because of all of the time that we had already spent together. She is now working from home, and I go to the office, so we talk about work a lot more.
I called TD Bank today, and was told to just wait for an email from them before applying for forgiveness for a loan under $50K.

When I asked for a rent reduction or abatement, I was told that I needed to provide sales figures and P&L for the previous 3 years. Since these figures are not required in my lease, as well as the fact that past performance has nothing with what is going on now, I have not provided any figures. ...

It is none of my landlord's business how my business is doing, as long as I pay my rent on time. I've been here 10 years. I must be doing something right. It looks like I will not get any relief.

Washington Township, your neighborhood math-only learning center. We
help kids in grades 2-12 understand math by teaching the way that makes

I run the business side of Mathnasium of Washington Township. I
manage the Center on a day-to-day basis and am usually the first person
every parent and student sees or speaks with. The opportunity to blend my business background with my wife Kathie's education background seemed like a
perfect fit with Mathnasium.
Mathnasium is a great vehicle to build confidence in kids. The
Mathnasium Method develops 'number sense' that helps them succeed in
math, and a whole new world opens up to them. That, in turn, builds a
confidence that is born of real accomplishment, a confidence that spills
over into all aspects of their lives. We have seen students improve
grades in other classes because they no longer worry about Math.

It costs me less, but the recipient gets a special unexpected treat and will remember our business when they use it.
Lead by example. I am the face of the business. I am here almost every hour that the business is open. I greet every employee, every student, every parent. I never ask an employee to do something that I won't do myself.

I have used Vistaprint for years for business cards, holiday cards, brochures, banners, and car magnets. I always wait for special pricing and/or free shipping. The Customer Service to "tweak" your file used to be free, but I noticed recently that they are charging $5.00. Still a good deal.

We have advertised on craigslist in the past, but stopped once they started charging for it. We have contacts at the local college who have sent out emails for us. We ask our Instructors for referrals.
