How We Got Started

My family and ancestors have always sewn one way or another. I did too as a little girl being taught by the family. When I grew up I became an RN and finally got tired of my lab coats and other items being stolen. I then threw myself into learning to embroider again, but this time I had to learn how to use a computer. Once I master it, I embroidered a the heart chambers and my name Ginger RN on the jackets. Never again was one stolen. More and more people came to me asking me to embroider their jackets , and then they asked for personal items. Embroidery grew and grew until I finally was so busy that I left the hospital I was working at and took on embroidery full time. Now I not only embroider for you and I also digitized designs for people and companies that do their own embroidery. I have stock designs for sale and take custom orders. I love helping people and love to make them happy

Sometimes it's just a personal note they want done and sometimes it's even a sketch they drew. I will embroider on almost anything too. Also on my web page if they purchase more than one size they automatically get a 10% discount on their purchase. No one does that in my business.  It is a rare occurrence that I turn down digitizing a design and that is when it is vulgar, offensive, or if it is copyrighted. Being honest and offering the best service at a price that is reasonable and fair has kept my customers coming back and referring me to others. I have the most amazing and rewarding business and I live and love it every day.

They read them and decide which way to go. I'm fortunate that I don't have any negative review, and perhaps it is that I go out of my way to please them. I'm not sure, but apparently it's working

I generally suggest we meet at Starbucks. I don't entertain customer as my business is embroidery.  Should I need to meet someone it is often suggested to me to meet at Starbucks.  Seems everyone like the idea. I would like to use Linkedin, but I don't know how and I'm told it's hard to figure out. Is there a way to go about it, where do I find information on how to list and work Linkedin?   (more) I would like to use Linkedin, but I don't know how and I'm told it's hard to figure out. They have learned that when they buy from me that they are very happy. I will also do rush orders (time allowing) that I do not charge them more. Quite often I find that I can squeeze their order in even if I wind up working very late for them.  This personal service I have with them is very rewarding

I got to be truthful, it's his/her's smile, or look if they are interested in talking or meeting me. You can tell if someone is pleased to meet you or self absorbed. You do not want to impose on people and you must respect their space. I think everyone knows if someone is approachable or not. You don't look to sell them something, you get interested in what they do. Later if you can be of help to them, then you offer your services. You never know who you might meet , who they know or will introduce you to. If all else fails maybe, just maybe, you got a new friend.

I never turn customers away and sometime I have been up all night embroidering for someone who had an urgent need, or was told at the last minute from another embroider that they could not get the job done in the time promised. My job is to make you look better and professional. I never take you for granted and I put myself in your shoes. I remember being there myself in one situation or another. I want to give superior quality garments and embroidery, because that is what you want and expect
