"Before COVID this nonprofit puppet organization traveled over 10,000 miles a year to present over 180 programs. Since 2019 they have concentrated on preparing their home base at 11 E Third St., Watsontown, PA as an educational experience for all ages.
The former Watsontown UMC is now the headquarters of over 6 rooms and hallways of educational opportunities from learning to do a character voice, to making and taking a puppet home, to presenting puppets or doing a craft. The sanctuary has become the JULIE M HOLMES CREATIVE ARTS CENTER where a monthly puppet program is presented the second Saturday of the month and a FREE movie on the third Saturday. A large social room (Peggy's Palace) has been prepared as a photo opportunity complete with fresh popcorn.
Whether on the road or at the puppet headquarters their mission is to present quality programs through excellent puppetry and provide educational experiences to foster individual creativity in order to encourage others to make a difference and to help them show people they matter."
