We owned and managed our properties.....and got very good at it. The rest is history. Took our business/management model to the professional level. Due to growth, we aligned with Real Property Management (Corporate) to take advantage of the cutting edge infrastructure, continuing updates, educational programs/opportunities and support.

This is a huge dilema facing most all rental property owners. With evictions put on hold, and only federal loans getting breaks, it will be difficult. I suggest contacting your lender to defer paying the mortgage. If you have strong relationships with any maintenance contractors try the same. ...

This is a huge dilema facing most all rental property owners. With evictions put on hold, and only federal loans getting breaks, it will be difficult. I suggest contacting your lender to defer paying the mortgage. If you have strong relationships with any maintenance contractors try the same. In addition, if your tenants are not paying rent due to lack of work, request proof of layoff or reduction of hours. Tristin Pettitt's blog is a great resourse.
Although, we do not feel an impact now, if our tenants are unable to work and unpaid, paying rent will be difficult. This would affect our business tremendously.
