Good Attorney, Executor & accountant. Know what goes to whom if its a specific bequest, ask questions on how to avoid tax issues and finally, and any other specific issues you want addressed (i.e. Living will, medical treatment etc.

Each state has different laws regarding the int6eraction between landlords and tenants. Nonetheless, a landlord is permitted to make necessary repairs despite the protestations or issues with tenant. She has to move the car for you to make repairs. I also wonder if the car is in violation of the...

She has to move the car for you to make repairs. I also wonder if the car is in violation of the lease due to violation of city ordinances. In that case, you can have her car towed at her expense. Otherwise take her to small claims court and have the judge order her to move the car which is a safety hazard.
With attorneys its an ethical question. Referral fees from one attorney to another are common on case referrals. However, there are issues with non-attorney referral fees which are generally prohibited. So, maybe discounts on future services or referrals back to the non-attorney for his/her own...
