(more) Thanks everyone for your thoughts.  If I hear everyone clearly - LOYALTY - is a primary challenge with staffing and talent acquisition.  Online blogs offer many suggestions for how to cultivate a culture and environment that creates loyalty with employees.  My research and recent workshop series "The Authentic Workplace" addresses four ways loyalty can be built with employees. I thought I might share those thoughts with you here: 1) Invest time in hiring process to introduce candidates to other key players on your team and engage in an open discussion about what motivations do they feel contribute toward loyalty.  This process will give you specific insight into their ability to fit well with your philosophies. 2) Help develop and grow your employees skills making them more marketable. The concept here is somewhat reverse psychology where if I know I can leave then its a demonstration of loyalty that I stay.  Offer opportunities for certifications, skills development and building their confidence, importance and influence in the organization.  By doing so you demonstrate your willingness to be vulnerable and engage in an authentic and trust building relationship. 3) Always allow and create paths for promotion.  No one wants to be stuck or hit the plateau with an organization. The plateau effect is certainly a contributor to disloyalty and lack of motivation.  Promote, coach, plan, equip, build and give others a moment to shine. Remember you look good by building a platform for others to shine, arise and thrive. 4) Empower employees to have voice in the policies and decisions of the organization. Cultivate autonomy and collaboration.  Everyone loves being a part of a plan and are more likely to be loyal and take ownership because they were included. (more) I would suggest approaching the client from a paradigm perspective that removes the client's risk or fear of low performance and waste of resources. The traditional offer goes like this: Offer - acceptance - performance/results - in this scenario the risk is on the client.  They invest, hope you perform and pray for results. Remove that paradigm and flip the equation by you having confidence and taking the risk.  Consider a promotion or low risk option where engagement allows you to prove and validate your services without risk to the client and then deliver! The goal is persuasion through results. Here are 3 quick easy tips to switch the paradigm: A presentation on impressions, analytics, traffic and conversion rates. A demo trial run for a 2 - 3 day period showing what you can do and sharing the analysis An offer that requires no up front fee but is pay per conversion as a 14 day or 21 day trial
