FEEDBACK FROM HAPPY CLIENTS

“Scott has been an incredible addition to our creative team. His articles are extensively researched and combine technical terminology, while delivering the message in an easy-to-understand language. We were able to increase our footprint of relevant, educational articles on many topic that help our clients understand what we do, or how to do what they do better. We also doubled our readership and brand exposure on social media and search engines, which in turn helped us receive and win more sales. I’d recommend Scott to anyone who needs to work with a professional who will listen, learn and apply himself to their ‘element.’” – Peter B., corporate blog writing client

“Scott did an excellent job with copy for my direct mail client. He gave me 4 choices of copy – each better than the last! His copy is as good or better than any copywriter I’ve worked with at large advertising writingagencies. I would highly recommend Scott – hire him while you can – he is going to be very busy.”- Karen A., graphic designer, copywriting client

“Scott loves stories. You can’t manufacture that passion. His enthusiasm enables him to spot narratives others miss. His excitement fosters genuine connection with his subjects. And his energy helps him craft stories that move readers — to action, to similar passion. If you’re having trouble finding the enthusiasm in your enterprise or connecting with customers, Scott’s your guy. He’ll unearth the treasures: Stories that build your brand with passion.” – Daniel P., agency client

Facebook ads wouldn't be a waste of money - the FB user is skewing older, so you'd be able to establish contact with more established potential buyers. But because Instagram is so visual, I suspect you'll get much more traction there. Also, a still-life artist I know gets great traction on FB by posting time-lapse videos of his works in progress, which could also be utilized for Instagram and Twitter. Presenting yourself in a friendly, accessible way will also go a long way towards establishing a connection with potential buyers.

Undervaluing their services and giving away work for free. Always charge what the market will bear, and never take projects that offer compensation in the form of "great exposure." Great exposure doesn't and never will help you buy groceries or pay the rent. (more) Undervaluing their services and giving away work for free.
