Hello Travel Passionista... I like the way he renamed you. smile. The most important part about starting a new business is the  potential clients  in your target market knowing you are there. smile. What service do you offer that sets you apart from the other travel agents? Do you go to their homes to meet with them? Have you got a video of you on vacation in a place you are promoting? Are you specialized in a part of the globe? What do you do that is special?

Once you have got that settled, I suggest you put together a presentation you can offer to groups such as libraries, Rotary and other service clubs, clubs and organizations... they are all looking for interesting speakers. 

I will share what I am doing writing my book Inside the Healing Journey.. a transparent candid how to manual of how I overcame.... that is my story ... what I know... and I am working it into a book, a workbook, a website linked into related products. 

Perhaps you could work your story of being homeless into a presentation about how in spite of being homeless  you had so much experience travelling... perhaps travelling on a shoestring... 

If you do not want to present your story you could just do presentations of some of your favourite places and why they are your favourite. 

I don't know if you have a website but that is a must.. perhaps embedded with videos of locations you are writing about... and lots of photos. And an excellent business card you can hand out while you are developing the fine art of networking with your target market.
