I will respond to this as a journalist who writes about businesses. The best method is to host if possible an event at your business and send out a press release and a media invitation. If that is not possible, but you are starting a new service or aspect to your business write it all in  a press release. Make certain it is well written and interesting and includes all the pertinent information. For me as a journalist the best press releases have allllll the information so I can just write the article. If possible include your logo in a jpeg and any relevant photos also in jpeg format. That is how I work when I write Around Westmount. You can also write and post your own article/press release with your logo and relevant photos on social media.
