Dr. Brian R. Price
Archeo Studios & Wetumpka Laser
We have our own line of historically-based jewelry and dress accessories, which can be seen at www.archeostudios.com. But we've now added expertise and equipment to do laser carving, engraving and cutting, letting us customize jewelry, coins and the like in brass and nickel-silver, as well as signs, plus the usual tumblers, and other things you may need marked.
Given our blend of historical research, we can also produce decorative fencing elements and panels, signs, and customized metal objects using a blend of casting and carving to get a unique and classy look.
I also teach medieval swordsmanship (weekly classes in Wetumpka) and am the author for a number of books and articles.
We began working with reenactors to produce high-end jewelry and dress accessories. Since we wanted to augment our line with customized heraldry and such, we began to explore what was possible with the laser. Now, we can do all sorts of things with laser cutting and carving in metals, acrylics, and leatherette.
