About 16 years ago I was pursuing a potential client who owned a manufacturing company. After several meetings with his HR manager, he got me a meeting with the owner. The owner said that Bob (HR) spoke very highly of me. Bob told the owner "If Steve is this persistent to get our business, I think he will be just as persistent to keep it." I closed the sale right then and had them as clients for many years. The bible says "don't be weary of doing the right things because you will reap a benefit if you don't give up."
I would try to get the Law firm as a client first. Once they are happy with your service it is easy to ask for referrals.
