It was June 2020 mid covid, Johnathan Smith started JMX Cleaning. We got our first 10 clients by February but it was not enough to pay the bills. I had been advertising for over 6 months at this point and not making any headway. I decided to stop advertising due to lack of funds and start praying. Around early February I had read Colossians 3:17 and thought to myself "well I'm not doing that in the business". That day I put that verse up on the website and I went from 10 appointments to 20+ in 14 days. I still have it recorded on my google calendar the day the business starting growing.
Move forward to June of that year and I met James Richards from church, I was going to fix his laptop in exchange for him fixing my car. We grew closer and I asked him if he wanted to invest and go into carpet cleaning. He said yes and we changed the company to a ministry focus renaming it to "Christian Cleaning & Restoration". Now in 2023 we offer carpet cleaning, mold and water restoration,cleaning.
