We use  a number of posters and prints from local artists for the rooms in our inn, but we don't have any pieces on display that we sell.  I have heard of other B&B's doing this.  Most seem to get between 10-20% if they sell someone's work that was displayed in their B&B.  You could also check with local galleries to see what kind of commission they take when selling an artist works.
