I purchase gift cards from stores or restaurants my kids like. Grand cantina and shop eco. I buy my ham and turkey at a local meat shop we like Brandt’s in leamington. There are so many ways to shop local you just have to search locally produced business in your area or even just buy from a small business in the area it keeps the local economy growing and supporting a small business is supporting a family trying to build a business in your neighbourhood not a big corporation mass producing items that for the most part we don’t need. I also like to spend my money on experiences like a new yoga class or paint class or something active locally we can do as a family.

I didn’t know this was a thing but it’s a great thing!! There are many obtacles being a woman and running a business mainly perception of customers, having enough time, funding and marketing. Grants geared towards women entrepreneurs with a focus on growing a business.... courses on finances and marketing as well as customers having more confidence in having a woman run a service based industry and not asking where is the boss when they come up to you! It does make me laugh sometimes though.
Paperwork, retaining employees and balancing work/personal life. Building a business is hard work but if you do what you love and make smart business decisionsyour business will grow!

I usually promote Christmas decor and planters towards middle of November. I will start right after Halloween for holiday lighting, decor and planters.

Etransfer is a great alternative but if the client doesn't have etransfer I usually send a weekly email or text with a reminder. Always be professional.
