Over three years I built up enough contracts for lawn care maintenance and offered snow clearing during the winter so had to quit the warehouse job and put all efforts into B-Botanical Landscape and here we are 18 years later...

Also water in the early morning 4 am till 7 am "less evaporation"  and the blades of grass will get engorged with water longer period of time before the sun burns off the dew sitting on the lawn...  With perfect weather, I cut the lawn at 2.5 to 3 inches and always bag the clippings... This mulching idea is BS, air & sunlight needs to get to the root system and can stop moisture from getting past the heavy layer of dead grass & rolls to the street... When your driving around and see big puddles of water on the street on a hot day where do you think it comes from, that's right the house that has a thick mulch & just watered the lawn...  The best thing you can do for your lawn to deal with weeds is picking the flowers off, that's right if the flowers don't go too seed you stop the spread of weeds "namely dandelions"... Cut the lawn before the flowers go to seed or invite the grandkids over and give them a bucket and given $5 for every bucket full they fill with flowers, best idea I ever had...
