Just a thought from somebody doing it.

My PASSION is art,it is not my HOBBY, it is my work! However as a business we know (or most of us at least) that it is a difficult to make a living as a practitioner artist. I am however lucky to love teaching art programs and between the two passions we can as a "business" survive. The love of painting gets into your blood at an early age and you are stuck for the rest of your life. I am proof because at 85 ,after 70 years of doing both It gets me up and going every day, If this is passion for what you do....so be it!

Before Christmas I party with my Art groups. Everybody is busy during this time so I plan an evening of a small group to make music and some food after the Holidays
