Dr Rick Costa has been a family physician and doctor of Osteopathic medicine for over 35 years in South Jersey. Prior to practicing medicine, he owned a healthfood store and pioneered bodybuilding in the area as well. He won Mr New Jersey 1981 but decided to go to medical school instead of pursuing Mr Olympia. It is such a common problem, but the good news is that there are some simple, all-natural ways to improve the quality of your sleep. There are several natural sleep aids that can improve the restorative quality of your sleep. Magnesium, Melatonin, GABA, 5HTP are some very impactful remedies on their own, but together they can have a synergistic effect. CBD is also an incredible supplement to address sleep issues. Personally, I used to take a pharmaceutical medicine every night to help me fall asleep and stay asleep. When we began carrying CBD products, I started taking them with the goal of reducing my chronic anxiety. I took about 15mg every day and two weeks later I found that I did not need my sleep aid because CBD regulated my system and I felt the balance I was lacking.
