In most applications we use, data is retrieved by your data application and is then used to make decisions. The application is ultimately responsible for how the data performs, how it does its work, and how the data is used. Usually, the data is raw, coming out of a transactional database.

Without a significant quantity of good quality data, it’s impossible to create a useful model, accurate reports or mounting an effective marketing plan you can use in the field (i.e., for a mailing list).
