No, I applied for regular PPP and I received a small one. Now I need to start looking for other funding streams. The one thing that has helped my business are my customers. Since a majority of my revenue comes from trade shows, which have been cancelled into 2021, it always puts a smile on my face when someone calls just to check up on me. Business is a fraction of what it was in 2019, but I keep on plugging along and hopefully we will see and increase soon. I am participating in some on-line events, and I hope they result in revenue.

As a homeowner I use Next Door to refer contractors and service people. It is really up to the homeowner to take the next step. I also use HomeAdvisor for contractor referrals and have found that some of the contractors never respond. So what do you consider a bogus lead? Someone has to ask for a referral. SAGC found that many of the homeowners had no clue what foundation repair services cost and really were not repairing to the level that the cost is, so HomeAdvisor was not a good source for referrals. As a homeowner I have gotten some really outrageous bids from contractors on HomeAdvisor and some really good ones too. It really depends on what types of services you are offering if HomeAdvisor is a good resource for referrals.

Practice, Practice. There are extension classes through the community colleges in the area. Or you can purchase online tutorial classes. Using a program helps you learn it but sometimes the classes help you with short cuts and keeping you from developing bad habits.
