How We Got Started

After many years working with the conglomerates and noticing what they did with regard to pricing in the industry, I decided to go out on my own. They mark up about 300% which I felt was a little exorbitant. After having lost my first wife to Brest cancer I felt the need to offer some relief to the high cost of funeral goods and services.

The subject of death & dying is often taboo among many cultures. The key however, is to make the best efforts to educate a family once they have recently experienced a loss while it is fresh in their memory. No one who has witnessed or has been left with the responsibility of preparing a funeral for the unprepared would allow this to happen to folk they love.  Unfortunately, the industry has created much distrust in the process of pre-arranging due to many unscrupulous deeds families have experienced in the past few years regarding money that should have been trusted and wasn't managed properly.

Of course you will have to do the many things mentioned in some of the comments listed here, but I'm certain that if you can be the next person who offers this services after the crime has been committed in any particular neighborhood you can begin to claim your market shares of a very lucrative business. Once you have acquired a few accounts you should gain the ability to radiate with-in the community through referrals, which will be the life or death of your sales activity. Get referrals from everyone you talk with.  Visiting some of these neighborhoods can be a little risky. I suggest identifying where the crime/burglary happened and mail a professional offer to that block or blocks surrounding that negativity.  Good luck & happy selling

First and foremost don't be afraid to ask for the sale. Remember one of the most difficult transitions is the one from presenting to closing. Reason being, there should be no transition. Closing is a natural sequel to a professional presentation. Big questions. What are you selling? Do you believe in your product?  Here you go, and now the answer to the question. The Physical Action Close is always best, once you have completed your presentation go on to completing the agreement, saying I'll need "something" birthdate, correct spelling of name, verify address, name of beneficiary, youngest child's birthday, etc. once they begin to answer these type of questions they have accepted your offer and any question now will simply be a request for more information. With that being the case you will answer any question, assume your answer was sufficient and continue to complete the agreement.  Remember to never attempt closing on money, down payment or monthly terms if they exist. Close on the concept-product-service by completing the agreement and this will lead the prospect further into the sales cycle of obligation. Only then can you successfully negotiate the terms of the agreement. Good luck and happy selling...
