For my clients I am strictly Mon-Fri. But, I do spend some time on weekends working on my blog or coming up with strategies to get new clients, if I have nothing else planned for the weekend, that is.

I think it's completely despicable that big banks are increasing fees like this. It really shows how little they care about small businesses in the country. They know how most of the small businesses (if not all) are struggling to keep their doors open, they know how many have been forced to close their doors, especially in those provinces that are in complete lockdown or partial lockdown. Yet they sit there raising fees and doubling their profits. During a pandemic. So I 100% agree, it's cruel and unethical.

For me, personally, it was a gradual change. When I first opened my business my focus was on business-to-business telemarketing. I started adding tasks like invoicing and payroll, more admin stuff, after a couple of years and I soon realized that I really enjoyed doing that, more so than the calls. So I decided to switch my focus to more of the admin side. After talking to several business owners and learning that that was an area they, and many others, were struggling with in their business, I knew I had made the right decision. I still do the odd telemarketing work, because I'm good at it, but my passion is in the paperwork!
