The most challenging aspect of dealing with China is quality of goods. I have imported machinery that has been top notch and some boat anchor quality. Vet the company and the product carefully. Ask for reference's. Most references will be foreign, some will speak english, some do not but call, email whatever it takes to make sure what you are paying for in advance does what you need. I actually made contacts in Korea and France in vetting my last machine purchase that I stay in contact with and exchange ideas with today.
Secondly, a $25,000 machine cost me $34,500 in duty and dock fee's. Budget carefully.
With all of the paper shortages I had thought about arranging a bidet distributorship.

As a manufacturer of alcohol wipe sachets we are at capacity and turning down contracts. I do reserve one area of production for local restaurants and business's unable to source wipes from normal channels. I am looking at maintaining this level of production for 6-12 months after a vaccine...

Our suppliers have managed to ship us components we need to manufacture hand sanitizer products despite shortages created by manufacturers purchasing large quantity's of components to meet their own needs.Maintaining good relationships with suppliers has helped us get through this period where some components were on allocation but because of relationships built over the years with our suppliers, what we need to produce has somehow always been available.
