I started the basics of bookkeeping when I was 13 years old. My mother was a bookkeeper and I started answering phones, filing, and doing simple A/R and A/P tasks. As I got older, I started working part-time for her employers during the summer and when not in extracurricular. My knowledge simply grew over time. I started my business in October 2019, before the pandemic because I felt stuck everywhere I worked. Not great timing, but this allows me to set my own schedule in order to be there for my 4 young daughters. I have faith that I will gain more clients as the pandemic gets further behind us!
