2025's Top 50 N. American Biz People & Over 4,700 Local Winners
All I can say is, WOW, what a race!
In six years, we've never seen so much energy and excitement on Alignable—fast and furious voting, heartfelt recommendations, Zoom calls buzzing, Smart Connects packed, and Contest Pep Rallies in full swing. It was electric!
And the final numbers? Simply mind-blowing: 333,272 votes! 🎉
That’s a new record! We thought 2024’s total of 309,000 was impressive, but this year, we shattered it—a whole week before the contest ended!
Final Alignable Contest Tally for 2025: 333,272 Votes 🙌
But that’s not all. So many amazing contest fans encouraged their peers to write recommendations along with their votes—and WOW, did that pay off! More than 77,000 recommendations came in—13,000 more than last year!
A huge shout-out to Evan Raoof, Paul L. Odendahl, Dr. Karen Fiorillo, Steve Levinson, JB Beckett, and so many others who championed the power of recommendations. Just look at the impact you’ve made! 👏
And let’s talk about the winners—4,750 walked away with top honors this year.
2025 also marked a game-changer: our first-ever N. American Local Business Person Of The Year Interactive Leaderboard —and what a HIT it was! 🎯
Watching the rankings shift for weeks kept everyone on the edge of their seats, especially those who remained on the list until the very end!
Want to see the final Top 5o Leaderboard? Check it out here.
But I’m also listing everyone below—because we’ll be celebrating this incredible group again and again over the next few months.

I am so honored to be voted the Best Local Business Person! Thank you to everyone who voted for me, and congratulations to all the winners! It is such a blessing and honor to earn this award, and I am so grateful to Alignable and to you, Chuck, for all the work you do organizing and running the contest. It is lovely to come together each year to support one another and celebrate our connections and commitment to doing good work.
I've never entered this contest myself. I'm always nominated by someone else, so it's an honor to be recognized as even a local leader. As an organization, our goal is to help the underserved populations. Specifically, intellectual developmental disability gained their voice in the political process. Alignable is one of our platforms that we share our information on, so thank you so much for your support. We hope to continue our work well into the future.
Regards,
Jessica Gould, owner of J Gould Consulting

How do we find out if we've won or not? In one area I see I placed #2 but in another area I am listed as #1 for my area....
Do local winners get a badge on their profile or to put on our website? Or anything we can share?

Congrats to all of you who won & for those that participated in the contest and supporting others in the Business community..We will always be stronger together & lifting each other up & moving Forward knowing that Working Together Works!
My best memories from the contest are seeing the votes and acknowledgements, as well as the new connections it inspires. The contest brings the culture to a hyper-peak revealing the foundational purpose. Reaching out to the people in my network that have supported me and who I have witnessed being supportive as well as meeting so many new people and making new connections adds to my best memories. I am so grateful for the special people I meet that genuinely want to be connected. The contest and others in the past have helped my business grow in many ways. For example, when I see people acknowledging people, it draws my attention to them. I want to know what they are saying about them, it gives me a sense about the person giving the recommendation that voted. I get a sense of how they themselves are helping people too. I met so many new wonderful and outstanding people in this contest. There is an even better sense of trust to reach out to them. If I believe I may be able to refer people to someone, I'm going to definitely reach out and get better acquainted. We are each building our own minor communities. It is lovely! And I have a full list of people I can trust to help me when I need it! It's all a good thing. :) Thanks for all the fun Chuck! Of course I want to acknowledge all of you reading this that make this platform the place I love to be.
