Alignable On the Road: Are We Coming to Your Town Next?
There are over 6.5 million members on Alignable—and we’re on a mission to meet you all. Or at least as many of you as we can. So we decided to take our show on the road, literally.
To make this dream a reality, advocacy marketer and all around Alignable superstar Sue Brooke jumped in her RV and headed across the country, making stops on the way to bring business owners together, share her networking knowledge, and help communities rebuild. All in the name of #OneMainStreet, of course.

Alignable On the Road: 3,000 Miles In & Moving East
Hello! I’m Sue Brooke, a passionate advocate for small business owners who’s traveling across the country in a motorhome bringing the #OneMainStreet mission to life, supporting communities, and sharing their stories.
Here are some of the places my journey has taken me so far.
Valley, Nebraska: Last month, I traveled 3,000 miles through 10 different states including Valley, Nebraska. My friend threw together a last minute pop-up event at a really cool coffee and wine shop, BREW Coffee House & Tasting Room.
Gina Lofberg, owner, shared her story of purchasing the business and opening her doors on March 16, 2020—just one day before the pandemic shut down! She didn’t let COVID keep her from living her dream. Instead, she added a drive-through window so she could serve her community. Gina’s still going strong to this day.
Papillon, Nebraska: Next, I had the opportunity to meet Dan Weber, owner of Peak Pathways in Papillion, NE and winner of Business Person of the Year, a contest set up to honor local business owners.
He hosted a great event with a group of local Omaha business owners at Spirit World, owned by Alignable member, Laurie Hellbusch. It was so inspiring to hear the stories and experience the positive energy of these resilient entrepreneurs.

Where Will I Be Next?
This month, I'm visiting Alignable members Tom Harris and Natalie DeLeo in Michigan, where they have planned several events in their communities. After that, I’m headed to Pennsylvania, New York, and Boston, then on to New Jersey, Nashville, and Texas.

We have been running a text-based shop local initiative here in Malvern PA. We have built a database of 900 community members who have subscribed to receive twice monthly texts with offers and notice of events - all designed to drive traffic to shop, and dine locally. We have even run a couple of text-based scavenger hunts that took customers through all the local businesses. People went into stores they had never visited before so it was a great way to introduce new folks to all There is locally. Www.mobilehigh5.com/shop-local
