I work in the interior design industry. Sometimes a client falls in love with a high ticket item and my commission on the piece is going to put them out of their comfort zone. I look at the grand scheme of the project and if they are a great customer making purchases on a whole home I will sell them that one special piece at my wholesale price. It’s a gift to them, makes them happy and me look great!
