This is a great question Rachael!  The very first firm I hired only followed through with the graphic design portion of my logo, but actually originated from a design my oldest daughter drew.  The process took over 5 months, and they never followed through with any of the other commitments agreed to at time of hire, which consisted of social media advertising and creation of a website and a streamlined advertising/marketing system all on one platform.  This was an extremely expensive effort and drained my advertising/marketing budget for the remainder of the year.  I was fortunate, however, that my amazing friend helped me setup my own website in a one day setting.
