My contract reads pay once completed. If I'm not paid I send a letter of small claims court. It doesn't matter how big nor how small you are. My company doesn't get involved with commercial work. There is enough work out there in residential to keep us busy. Besides commercial work does not pay on time. With residential the job is completed I get paid.

Yes this has happened to me. In fact I had to stop taking square as a form of payment. Square will always favor the client. I only give the $$ back if I'm behind on a contract and the job hasn't started. People today are exctremly rude. You can do 100% to appease the client. In today's world it's...
