About Us

It's not about the owner, it's about the highly qualified and well trained Baristas who welcome you and make your drink and experience special. We're Carrollton's Meeting Place. For 15 years we've been Carrollton's local coffee shop and gathering place. Open every day on the Square in downtown Carrollton.

How We Got Started

In 2004, downtown Carrollton needed a local coffee shop where people could come, meet and share a great coffee. We've been filling that need ever since.

We have not gone to online, just our telephone orders with curbside service with just one employee working per shift.  That works best for us.  (more) We have not gone to online, just our telephone orders with curbside service with just one employee working per shift.  That works best for us.

There are nearly no vacancies, although it would help to have more stores remain open for people to visit after eating in one of our fantastic locally owned and independent restaurants. Also, the City needs to address the need for more parking.

Our downtown merchant association has special marketing for this day which helps improve awareness somewhat.

They often need thank you gifts for their customers. You could set up an incentive for them so that they receive a little something for themselves or the office when they order for their customers. If you're located in a tourist or popular pedestrian area, I would connect with the local hotels and/or tourist attractions, maybe providing some free samples and some kind of referral discount program. Maybe you could sell your chocolates in the hotel gift shop. They like locally made items. We get lots of requests for sponsorships and giveaways from all kinds of groups and organizations. We don't give money to just a few. Instead, we give all legitimate ones a gift card to be used as a door prize, silent auction item, etc. It gets our name out there, shows we support the community, and some new people in the shop. Be sure to build your testimonials. I hope this helps.

Hi guys, I gave my response on your site as it was rather lengthy and I'm somewhat unclear what your idea is that you're wanting to do. It doesn't sound like you're wanting to open a coffee shop. Good luck. (more) Hi guys, I gave my response on your site as it was rather lengthy and I'm somewhat unclear what your idea is that you're wanting to do. If you’re a retail store with card present purchases, I recommend Heartland Payment System, which is owned by Global Payments,  one of the biggest direct processors.  Save money by avoiding third party brokers. Know what you’re paying above Interchange charges and per transaction fees.  (more) If you’re a retail store with card present purchases, I recommend Heartland Payment System, which is owned by Global Payments,  one of the biggest direct processors.  Save money by avoiding third party brokers. The thing many are really bad at is communication.  Continuously keeping the customer informed of progress and when they will return is huge  to keeping a satisfied customer. Perhaps the biggest fear of homeowners is that the contractor will do a bad job or not come back and finish the job. Keeping in touch at all times goes a long way to reduce this fear.  I have so many experiences of times a person doesn’t call back, come back or follow up. And I’m a pretty easy going person.  The second big problem most contractors have is they are not good at estimating how much time a project will take. Yes, there are lots of unknowns, but more experienced contractors should be able to anticipate most of them.

Yes, through one of the best 3rd parties, Lumos Wifi. Extremely secure for both the customers and the business. They also act as our IT Dept. since we are a small restaurant and don't have our own IT Dept. The best people I've ever worked with and very reasonable cost.
