I agree with Beth and Robert. You have to set strategic goals first and foremost. Who's your audience? Where are they? Why would they care about what your product is? Who is the leading voice or voices in this space? You don't have to spend a ton of money, but the money you do spend needs to be well informed and adjustable based on insights and analytics so you can refine your messages over time. Again, without a strategy, you're throwing money out the window.
