How We Got Started

I have over twenty years of teaching and supervisory experience. After earning a double major in English and speech/theater and a Master's in Education, I taught middle school and high school English, Theater, reading, study skills, and SAT Prep, as well as college courses in Research Methods and Introduction to Literature. In my last two years of university work, I trained and supervised student teachers. I worked in the CHCCS system for five years before opening ColPrep Tutoring, Inc. in 2008. I currently teach our ACT Short Course and SAT Spring Course, and offer my highly popular "College Ahead!" Seminar in March of each year. Our team consists of 12 amazing tutoring specialists, and our testimonials and thank-you's speak for themselves. www.colpreptutoring.com

(more) I'm not sure of your business, Thomas, but I often discuss the differences in similar businesses to mine. We work with students, so I will note what separates our test prep work from others. I will also suggest that if the client wishes to go with another company, he or she should ask for references and talk to happy customers. I do have some who decide to work with someone else, but not many. Hope this helps!
